One of the best ways to publicise a web site, is to syndicate a part of your site. This can appear in newsletters, ezines, and websites. There can be a lot of difference in the quality of these articles. We have tried hard to find the best of the best to appear here.
Writers of these articles will appreciate others publishing their work, as long as few simple guidelines are followed. The articles can be copied into another webpage, as long as the details of the author remain in the document, and the hyperlinks are not removed.
Some people like to check on the site of the author before publishing. It doesn't take long to check that what you are doing is correct, and are not going to get you into trouble with copyright issues. It's not just a case of the author taking legal action, but if your site gets a bad name, you could find yourself being mentioned all over the web, for the wrong reasons!
How to Publish Free Articles on your website
- Make sure that the URL or email address is hyperlinked, and doesn't just appear as text
- The simple way to be sure is, when you find and article that you would like to use, just click on [Html View], which you will find at the top of the page. The HTML code is there for you to copy, and paste into your own website. Couldn't be simpler!
- On rare occassions, the author may have certain conditions for publishing. Perhaps they don't want to appear on certain types of site, or on commercial sites. It's their work, it's their choice. Also, some authors ask for email notification that their information is being used
- Always remember, you have no automatic right to publish these articles, they belong to the author. And as such, the author is perfectly within their rights to ask you to conform to certain simple conditions, and to get annoyed if you don't
